Hourly Range: $15.90
(Depending on qualifications and/or experience)

We are looking for experienced people to join our committed team in the field of dual disability / intellectual disability with High and Complex needs. Some one who has proven experience or understanding of "Life Skills and Day Services" and disability support services

Superb people skills are a must, as you’ll be liaising with clients, their families, health agencies and potential employers. Expectations of this role include community support of individual and groups of clients as well as facilitation of day and life skills programmes.

The goal of our service is to provide clients with a sense of identity, self confidence and practical skills to lead successful lives within the community of their choice.

Essential criteria:

• Meets Framework’s Competencies
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Exceptional people skills and ability to network

• A commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi and culturally safe practice
• Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
• A current clean Full Drivers Licence
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand
• Current Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certificate

Desirable criteria:

• Experience in Health/Disability sector, supporting/training or teaching and aiding clients in achieving their goals.
• A Certificate/Diploma in Mental Health or an appropriate qualification is not necessary but preferred.
